Since our establishment in 1880 (Meiji 13), we have continuously expanded our business beyond roof tile manufacturing, incorporating roofing installation, gutter installation, painting services, solar panel installation, and comprehensive exterior work. By adapting to evolving industry needs, we have solidified our position within the sector.
Introduction of the Foreign Technical Internship Program in 2014
To strengthen our organization and embrace workforce diversity, we transitioned from a subcontractor-based system to a fully employed workforce. This shift enhanced quality control and created an environment where our employees take pride in their work. As a result, we can now deliver high-quality services both domestically and internationally.
Expanding into the Asian Market
Looking beyond Japan, we are actively expanding into the Asian market, bringing Japanese craftsmanship and Made in Japan quality to a broader audience. Skilled professionals trained in Japan provide exceptional services overseas, further advancing our international business presence.

2011: The Great East Japan Earthquake
The earthquake led to a severe shortage of skilled roofers, creating a difficult situation where work was available but revenue could not be generated. In response, we introduced the Foreign Technical Internship Program and transitioned to a fully employed workforce. This shift allowed us to train and develop skilled professionals in-house, reducing reliance on external subcontractors.
Recruiting Young Talent & Lowering the Average Employee Age
As part of our transition to a fully employed workforce and the introduction of the Foreign Technical Internship Program, we saw an increase in young Japanese professionals eager to work in an international environment. This led to a lower average employee age, revitalizing our organization.
January 2022: Moving Beyond 99% New Construction Projects
To reduce our dependence on new construction projects, we shifted our focus toward renovation and repair work for existing buildings.
This strategy supports business diversification and sustainable growth.
October 2022: Partnership with a Painting Company
To expand our services in painting and scaffolding, we partnered with a painting and scaffolding company.
This collaboration enhanced our ability to meet a wider range of customer needs.
March 2023: Focusing on Real Estate Utilization
We established real estate utilization as a new pillar of our business.
By entering the real estate market, we further diversified our business.
